Tonic has implemented an important update to simplify how publishers provide their Facebook Ad Library IDs for active Meta Ad Libraries.
This new solution, available in the UI Compliance Section under the Meta Ad Library menu, replaces the recently introduced Page ID form.
This update is crucial to ensure compliance and transparency if you’re running ads on Meta.
What’s New in This Update?
To streamline the process, Tonic has designed a dedicated section for submitting Facebook Ad Library IDs in the panel.
Publishers can now add their IDs directly through this new interface, which is accessible only to Facebook accounts.
How to Find Your Facebook Ad Library ID
Not sure where to find your ID? Here’s how:
- Visit the Meta Ad Library.
- Use the search bar to locate your page and open its profile.
- The Page ID appears in the URL (e.g., view_all_page_id=20528438720).
- Alternatively, you can locate it in the Meta Business Suite under the admin panel for your page.
Why This New Update Is Important
Providing accurate Facebook Ad Library IDs is now a mandatory step for all publishers using Meta Ad Libraries. This ensures:
- Compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Greater transparency in ad activity and traffic sources.
- Accountability for your advertising practices.
- Failing to meet these requirements could result in compliance issues.
From now on, Tonic requests that publishers use this new submission method exclusively, as the old Page ID form will soon be phased out.
If you haven’t updated your Facebook Ad Library IDs yet, be sure to take advantage of the new system today.
